I was born in Holland and trained as a nurse, then married and emigrated to Australia with my family. Four years later we moved to South Africa which is still my home. During the seventies one profound experience awakened within me a passion to become a cosmic traveler, an astral explorer, of a world that held such kaleidoscopic diversities, I needed to study further, gathering information in order to translate the vision into words. The age of computers had not yet arrived. The Internet was an unknown concept and my own knowledge was very minimal on the topics on which I now write.  While studying metaphysical sciences and esoteric psychology, I gave art therapy & drawing skill classes in Port Elizabeth - South Africa, thereby laying the groundwork for my mind drawing workbooks, published years later titled: the language of light. The idea of exploring the awesome concept that was shown to me so long ago resulted in me creating a human plot. This plot came alive through the characters who all belong to the Jaarsma Clan. Today  I'm the managing director of Kima Global Publisher's imprint: THE POWER OF WORDS. I entered the first chapter of my novel ( my love we are going home) into the writers club of South Africa competition under the name of Nadine May, and was placed first in the Michael Brunners trophy section (first chapter of a novel) in 1999.
