As a parent I always wanted to leave a legacy for my children, so I began writing poetry and eventually wrote stories for children. This turned into a passion which led me to writing novels. Now I'm hooked! Having my first novel published and all the praise I've received along the way keeps me motivated.

Recitations of my poetry on war have received commendations from the Vietnam Veterans of America. In Addition, I have received personal responses to my writing from President Ronald Reagan, President George Bush, Doris Day, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and many others in the field of politics and entertainment. One of my poems won second place in the Poetic Justice Poetry Competition. I have also been published in Verses Magazine, The Heartlight Journal, and have received awards for the Hollywood Poetry Society.

On February 6, 2003 my first adult novel was published. It is called LET IT BE ME.It was published as a romance/mystery and is in 6x9 trade format. I have already completed the sequel and am working on my third adult novel. I am also putting the final touches on three childrens books.
