Carl Roberts, ( The Beach Dweller) is a 50- something year-old migrant from Wales back in 1989, ex motorsport tragic, map publisher, car salesman, farmer, rally driver, IT consultant and retail shop owner within the Apple Computer re- seller network, and beard grower extraordinaire who after battling Motor Neurone disease for many years, looked up at the full moon one night while sipping a Drambuie and Coke and thought: Enough, I’m orf! Pack up me Tardis, git a picture machine an’ let’s go see a billabong or two. Published "Clockwise Round Australia" in 2009 after spending a life changing journey through many of the more remote parts of Australia, and 2009 / 2010 spend 6 months living in the wilderness of Cape York, Far North Queensland, Australia The next book is due out in mid 2011, entitled " I live under the shadow of Black Mountain" recalling the daily travels, quirky folk and awesome scenery that is unque to the tip of the continent of Terra Australis
