I grew up in Yorkshire in the north of England, a place called Bradford, famous for being the birthplace of the Bronte sisters, and infamous for it's associations with Peter Sutcliffe, The Yorkshire Ripper. I had an unconventional upbringing, with atheists on one side and psychics on the other. I never knew who was telling the truth and who might be pulling my leg, so I decided I'd make my own mind up. I was a strange little girl who could see and hear other worlds, but I put it down to my good imagination. This same good imagination fired my passion for writing, everything in life was a story to me. My imagination sometimes got me into trouble, but it also got me out of it as well. Passionate about reading I started out with Enid Blyton and Laura Ingalls Wilder, quickly progressing to Jean Plaidy and Stephen King. History and Horror are my fiction reading of choice, but I write true stories of the paranormal from my own life and others, of the Mind Body Spirit genre. My first book "Ancestors & Angels" came out less than four weeks ago, it hit the Amazon bestsellers chart at number #87 in the first week, and reached #74 the week after that, since then it has climbed up and down enough to make my head spin, but it is all wildly exciting to me as you may imagine! When I'm not being a "bestselling author" ( she said with her tongue firmly in her cheek), I am busy as a wife and mother to three grown up children. My husband and I have known each other for thirty two years, we met on a garage roof when we were both thirteen, he had heard rumours that i was a secret agent, and I suspected he was a vampire, turns out we were both wrong, but the mutual disappointment didn't stop us getting married about ten years later. The rest, as they say, is history.
