I was born in Toronto, grew up in Montreal and returned to Toronto in my early thirties. I'm a railroader by day, a writer by night, and a mom 24/7. Writing is my passion. Years ago, I tried to get away from it but discovered that it's stronger than me. I can't stop making up stories. If I don't write them down, then they play out my head. Characters show up in my mind, unpack their bags and start living there until they're ready to move on. I love to read. I can't say I have a favorite genre or author or book. I read all except mysteries. If an author can grab me on the first page, I will read his/her book. I was inspired to write Masks once I realized that I am my daughter's first and most important example of what a woman should be. Masks was published through iUniverse in 2010. I re-wrote it and republished it as an e-book entitled Masks: A Novella in April 2011. I hope you enjoy reading it! If you do, leave a review. I am currently working on an offshoot of Masks with Diana Rainville as the main character. She was a horrible best friend in Masks and finds herself years later making amends.
