Detours, bridges, road construction ahead ... ah, getting through life without a roadmap - what a challenge!  But those wrong turns and major delays are the gifts that make women wise.  We start on this journey with hopes and dreams, innocence and belief.  Along the way the well-meaning, and sometimes the not so well-meaning, find ways to talk us out of all that.  To accept reality and conform.  By mid-life, the wise woman suspects conformity ain't all it's cracked up to be and reality takes some deeper delving than we're encouraged to attempt. And that's the point!  Keep digging.  Keep searching.  And keep in mind, just having an answer isn't near as joyful as learning the truth. Happy trails!
