I've been writing since the young age of 13.  I started out with poetry and eventually began dabbling in short stories, fiction and childrens books.  In 2008, I published my 1st poetry book, Voice of My Choice and have recently published, Diary of a Single Thirty-Something "31".  I had a few poems published in anthologies and have received an Editors Choice Award.  I am influenced by everything in my life, my surroundings and my passions.  There's so many of us who are single in this ever changing society.  I decided to write a book depicting individuals in their 30's and what they might be going through.  The main character, Rachel reveals to her diary her thoughts ideas and stories that not only she's been through, but what her friends have encountered as well.  I am currently working on my 2nd poetry book and am really putting my heart and soul into this one.
