I have been a writer all my life. It has been a hidden passion that time and obligation fails to suppress. Like all true forms of arts, it provides a means to share a small piece of your soul with strangers exposing intimate vulnerable parts of your psyche. Even your closest friends are, in fact, strangers to select attributes of the pieces that constitute your whole. Therefore the decision to become a published writer did not come easy for me.                 I have endured a lifetime of inspiration, desire, hope, struggle, triumph, disillusion, et cetera. Yet, I am aware that all my pain and passion are shared by my vast human family. In the same manner that a songstress, or a superbly, brilliant song writer conveys their human frailty and unimaginable strength through their art: a writer that appreciates the delicacy of this powerful art form does the same.     I am forty-three. My love of writing began as a young child. In 3rd grade we had to recite a poem. I chose Invictus.  The rhyme and rhythm was appealing, but the words spoke directly to my soul. In times of challenge and fear I recited my motto. It gave me motivation to defy whatever obstacle stood in my way. When I decided to become a published writer, I wanted to convey stories to the world like the writers who have inspired me most have conveyed their inner thoughts, exposing private pieces of their intimate soul. My debut literary work, The Unfettered Human Soul is my attempt to share a small piece of my soul with my human family. I am currently working on my second book. I hope to make writing my sole profession.
