About the Author   MICHELLE JOHNSON-LANE was born and raised by her mother in Wilmington, Delaware. She is the only girl of her mother’s six children and was a breech birth baby, seven minutes before her twin brother. Michelle is the second oldest of her late father’s four children.   After working nearly twenty years in the banking industry, like so many others, Michelle experienced a job layoff. She describes it as a blessing in disguise because she has been afforded the opportunity to seek inside herself and bring to life what's been dormant for many years—her passion for writing. Michelle began bringing pen to paper after giving birth to her youngest child in 2009, springing forth her debut novel, UNRAVEL.   Michelle is happily married with three beautiful children and they live in Lynchburg, Virginia.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am an aspiring author, driven to share my talent of writing fictional stories based on life experiences. In my travels, both domestically and internationally, I've gained a unique and non-jaded perspective of the world.  I am excited to share that I have several projects in the works, consistent with the pursuit of my dream to become an accomplished author. Ironically, I have been afforded the opportunity to jump in with both feet first, the same way I entered the world; a breech birth twin.  I invite you to embark on my personal journey as I take this leap of faith and explore the many books that have long been dormant inside of me.
