I am inflenced by the world around me. So many people are hurting -not just physically but emotionally  and spiritually as well. The once popular methods of healing are no longer working so it is time to look into other options. Becoming aware of who you are-not just  physically but spiritually - brings you to a whole new level of acceptance for yourself and for others as this new perspective expands your knowledge of life. Putting my experiences into a category of "good" or "bad",makes a judgement on myself ,so seeing them for what they really are-just experiences- changes the interpretation of who I am. By allowing the lesson to be the focus rather than seeing myself as a victim, I have changed my reality . The facts remain; I am still the oldest of four girls born into a poor family struggling with generations of alcohol and other abusive behaviours. What has changed is how I view myself and these experiences. Transformations in my life are what motivates me to help other people change their self view from one of victimization to one of self empowerment.
