Wayne Howard was born in Mississippi, but lived his early years in Japan, Guam and Nevada before returning to Mississippi for high school and college. He began writing at an early age, winning a story writing contest at the age of nine. He enjoys writing poetry, children's stories and short humor pieces, and he has lived in he Pacific Northwest for the last 15 years.
