My name is Wendy Van Camp and I am the writer behind the blog No Wasted Ink. The blog features author interviews, science fiction and fantasy novel reviews, articles about the craft of writing and Scifaiku poetry. I write science fiction, fantasy, memoir, Scifaiku poetry, and dabble in regency romance. My work has appeared in literary and science fiction magazines such as “Shadows Express”, “Quantum Visions”, “Serendipity”, "Dark Futures", "Luna Station Quarterly", and “Far Horizons”. My amazon ebook is a regency romance called "The Curate's Brother: A Jane Austen Variation of Persuasion". It is the first of a series. I am also at work on a science fiction steampunk series. I collect fountain pens, inks and notebooks like other women collect shoes. I love riding all the great bicycle trails we have here in Orange County, California and cruising Pacific Coast Highway with the moon roof open in my car on sunny summer days. I’ve been an artisan jeweler for the past 20 years and a certified gemologist since 2011.
