I was brought up on the Isle of Wight in Southern England, surrounded by a wealth of historic buildings, hence my first published books were Regency romances. Nowadays I write contemporaries too and my alter ego, W. Soliman, writes a sereis of marine crime novels featuring boat-living detective Charlie Hunter. and raunchy mainstream books in the style of Jackie Collins.
