I recently self published my first book, Legends of Auryona: Return of the Queen. While working on the marketing of this title I am also working on a SciFi/Horror piece which I started as a NaNoWriMo project this year. I have a pile of stories waiting to be shared, likely enough to keep me busy for many more years. I started my writing years ago with short stories and poetry. In 2009 I decided to step it up a bit and write a full novel. In a short time I had written the first 95 thousand words in a fantasy series. While writing it was a fairly quick process, editing and tweaking were a whole other story all together.  I find that when I write, the best story comes from the characters. Most of the time I don't even know what will happen next. This I feel is the greatest joy of writing.
