My name is Alicia. My two greatest passions in life are my family and writing. After recently having three strokes in two months, I am inspired to push toward the goals I have set for myself, and encouraged to follow my dreams. I want to use the gift of time I was given to encourage and inspire others; to share the lessons of hope, and strength, and spirit I was taught on my journey to recovery. I promised myself that if I survived my ordeal, I wouldn't let anything stop me from going out and living the life I have always desired to live. I have taken my first step in doing just that!
