Lyn Scott currently serves as Vice President/CFO of Tarrant County Samaritan Housing, Inc. The social service organization provides supportive services and housing for its clients. Additionally, Ms. Scott served as Chief Operating Officer of a nationally chartered history museum and educational institution. With a career focus in business operations, her extensive professional experience encompasses banking, defense/manufacturing, and nonprofit organizations.    Scott’s affiliations and honors include: member of the Smithsonian Institution Affiliations Advisory Council; 2010 Power Pipeline Committee of the Board; member of the American Association of University Women, Tarrant County; Member of Executive Women International, Dallas; member of the Certified Fraud Examiners; TWU Phi Kappa Phi; Leadership Texas, Class of ’09; Scholar in Residence for Durham Museum; and, recently featured in Cadillac’s Spirit of Texas.   Scott is a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University, and recently received her MBA from Texas Woman’s University. Driven by a passion for volunteerism and community activism, Lyn has held volunteer positions at several local charities. Lyn resides in Arlington, Texas, with her husband, Jeff, and 18-year-old daughter, Ashley.
