Meet Papa Didos Papa Didos is on a mission to spread the joy of reading books and healthy living. He began his journey running across America on Feb. 10, 2011 at Long Beach, California. Three thousand two hundred and eighty-one miles later, he found himself at Coney Island, New York on July 26, 2011. In between those two points he gave away thousands of books at schools, orphanages, and children’s hospitals. His events started with a little bit of reading to kids, moved into a little Q&A, then ended with a run. Kids love running with a guy that ran across America and he loves sharing his fascinating adventure. Kids have many questions about being an author and he is always more than happy to answer them all. The run was his way of showing kids everywhere that any goal can be accomplished if a person takes the steps. He has been on the news, and he documented his journey every day. He even got invited to the White House. He is the author of one hundred and ten children’s stories. They are all limited editions and available at www.papadidos.org. At the moment he is polishing his book about his experience on the road and the steps beforehand that led to his journey.
