Writing is the fuel of my soul.

Background Information

Tammy Whaley has worked as a waitress, a cook, a corrections counselor and a registered nurse. Throughout the years her jobs may have changed but her passion for writing has remained consistent. She lives with her partner Sharon, four cats and a dog on five acres in Ohio. She is the author of Serial Justice, Prologue of an Apocalypse and Center of the Cataclysm.      . I began to seriously believe in my own writing when my fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Jones, had the class put on a play I had written. I realized then that my words had power. There were others that influenced me, writers, humanitarians, musicians; all people I have never met, but whose words or actions have touched me deeply. Yet, the greatest influence on my writing came from that one fifth grade teacher in a small town in Ohio. She believed in my writing, even when I didn't believe in myself.
