Born in England bred and educated there, now residing in Canada. I grew up with 'The Classics'love Shakespeare, Dickens, Tranter, Buchan, even Rider Haggard. I enjoy an eclectic taste in words and music but basically lean to the classical section of the music store along with opera. As you can guess I enjoy drama more than comedy, and history more than present day. I write historical fiction which is to say I involve my characters in a certain period and enmesh them in its politics, religious aspect and social conditionings. I have written at least twenty (20) novels to date some of which are available at my website and others. Recently the focus of my books has shifted to eBooks and are available under the names of Frank James-- historical fiction and Mari Benoit-- Historical romance (with a bite).
