I am from Saint John New Brunswick. I was raised in a christian home. I've always been a thinker and have so much on my mind. I buy so much notebooks and blank paper at the dollar store. I feel the need to have a lot, because I am always writing down ideas, or short stories and poetry, even if it does not go any where at the time. It just feels right to do so. My parents tried to get me outside with my friends, but I'd rather be inside writing and thinking. I would not last long hanging outside. Sometimes I would just sit there and stare at a blank piece of paper for a long times. I like to do other things as well such as: Photography, Singing, Dancing, Cooking and lots of others, but for the most part I prefer pen and paper the most. I can't think of anything else to put in here about myself, if I think of more I will update or if there is anything you wish to know feel free to ask.
A lot of what my poetry is about is it reflects my life. Every little event that took place in my life or some sort of an ordeal, heart break, friendships, break ups, loss, love, crushes. I wrote everything down into poetry. Writting poetry is my form of a journal or a diary. I tried the "DEAR DIARY" thing and it does not help me vent or get every thing off my chest of what I want to say. So there you have it. Poetry it is.
Although, I do write short stories and long ones too of other genres, just letting my imagination fly with silly and funny ideas, nothing too serious that it would be good in a book. Or maybe it is, but I just think half the ideas I come up with people would not understand the way I think about things. So I tend to keep those stories to myself. No one will ever know though, maybe someday I will break out of my shy bubble of the stories I write and just post them or turn them into a published book.
For now my comfort is in my poetry and that is where I tend to stay, unless I decide otherwise.
