What inspired Naomi the poet to write poems?   I started writing few poems since I was 22, after the demised of my brother from gun violent.  Then, I stopped. I started drawing when I was 12 years old.  I never wanted to be an artist or a poet.   I was inspired to fuse both of my God given gift, after facing a deadly car accident, which left me unable to walk. I was confounded in the house about three years. My mother moved in with me to assist me with all of my mobility needs. Since, I was unable to move around on my own, which made me angry and frustrated.   I know I had to seek for some type of sanity and spiritual inspiration to uplift my soul, self-esteem, hope spirit and life given challenges to a road of recovery.   I prayed that God will speak to my spirit to birth inspirational therapeutic words within my soul. Once I started to write I found my poems ministering life back into my world. I started back writing poems, next thing I know I wrote about 300 poems through the duration of my recovery and add illustration to them. Now, I can proudly say, I self published my books Soulality (Fruit for Your Soul), Soulality (Love Emotions) and own copyright to all poems and illustration.  My book of poems is sold on Amazon and other book stores.   I also started an online store call Mysoulality.com where you can purchase my artwork on various products. I have a least five or more website under Soulality BlogSpot or Soulality poems and artwork.     I guess some time where there is trauma there is a success story.
