This book has been 35 years in the making. That is how long people have been asking me to write it. Like most of you, when I first got serious about becoming a better Monopoly player I read every book I could find and searched far and wide for any other material that might help me. Frankly, there was not much out there. Most of what has been written is superficial and did not go into much detailed strategy. There was a lot written about the history of the game and some material that will help you learn the rules but the books I read did not go very far. More importantly, I could find nothing written by a tournament player.
