Stephanie Meyer was a influence (here come all the I hate Twilight jokes) also Suzanne Collins because the Hunger Games is just a fantastic story. Shakespeare is also a big influence, recently I played Titania in a Midsummer Night's Dream in college and I loved the story line and teh confusion of love, plus I always loved Romeo and Juliet and Twelth Night. I'm Pretty sure there are other influences but the only two influences I can think of is Phantom Of The Opera and Lady Gaga but they arent authors.
