It all started with a film called Gladiator! I enjoyed the film so much that I decided that I was going to have to find out more about ancient history. Seven years later, having absorbed so much information I had to let it all out again or my head would have burst. I have always enjoyed writing for my own pleasure and for the amusement of friends and family and have also always had a great love of history. In 2007 I decided to combine the two and began writing my first book 'The Battles are the Best Bits.' Having recently published my first book I am now looking for a new writing challenge and have started work on my novel Fall of Empires.
