Ever since the beginning of the Global War on Terror, my thoughts are always with the warriors taken from America and placed on foreign soil to fight and survive the experience.  I thought about what can and does happen to a soldier coming home from the horrors of war. So I wrote this book to give the reader a glimpse into the psyche of seven operators that took a different spin on how to cope with war, returning home to a bad economy, and the ventures they pursue as they continue to live two lives at the same time. After each war, there are the common recessions that keep returning soldiers from adjusting properly back into civilian life, and these seven men drew their own destiny.  They embarked in the marijuana smuggling trade in the 1970's, and then pursued "rural sheriff's callings" across the American southeast for nearly thirty years as vigilante mercenaries.   Eventually, they decide to make one last calling happen and then quit and go on with their lives.  Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach Bike Week is the backdrop for the story about how these men intend to make history in the middle of it all.
