After having kept a journal with me everywhere I go for the last fifteen years or so I have a record of my life, losses, loves, hates, fears, and every other emotion that drug me around like a puppet at one time or another.
My entire life I have always had this nagging feeling that I was looking for something, searching, waiting for something or someone- but I did not know what or who exactly it was that I was looking to find, so I wandered around in my life trying to find myself... I was lost.
Along the way I fell into a lot of traps, made wrong turns, some of them good some of them a complete nightmare. After all that, after all the friends and the late nights out after all the many who share my company, I was always alone.
The big problem I've found is that in life, all the wrong choices tend to feel so right, so good at the time that they are hard to resist... even when deep down you know it is right. Giving in to temptation, giving into love because holding it back is killing you inside is the very thing that broke me. I knew it going in and I only have myself to blame. M.
