Seems like I've been writing for centuries. I started my first story when I was five years old. My mother kept the several lines of scribbly text for years. She's gone and so is that ancient piece of paper.  Off and on, I have produce short stories. They have been prompted by life experiences and sometimes a word or two.  I worked for several major corporations as well as retiring from the Army. In all of those places I have worked, I was editor and writer or just writer.  So... I love writing.  Ed Gaulden
