Shawn V. Kilgarlin, Chief Operating Officer, Writer, Speaker, and Presenter for American Screening Corporation (ASC), earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology & Chemistry from Southeastern University in 1991. She is an expert in antibody and conjugate development. Very active in her industry and community, she is affiliated with the American Probation and Parole Association, the Texas Probation Association, the American Academy of Pain Management, and the American Association for Clinical Chemistry. She has won: a Chamber of Commerce Spirit Award, Outstanding Diplomat; a Rising Star Writing Award; and in 2011 was named a Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year in Health Care Support. Inclusion in the Cambridge Who’s Who Registry is an honor reserved for a small selection of members in their given discipline each calendar year. Honorees are determined based on professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided, so Mrs. Kilgarlin was particularly proud to be so honored.        Shawn Kilgarlin’s true passions are writing and helping those in need. Her first book, God’s Love Letters: Overcoming Adversity became a “closet hit” marketed only to the clients of American Screening Corporation. Her second book, Past Tense: 365 Daily Tools For Putting Stress Behind You – For Good, is a massive undertaking that resulted in a 24-section book with a stress-beating topic for every single day of the year. Past Tense and the minibooks that accompany it will be marketed to the broad public, across the English-speaking world.   Mrs. Kilgarlin’s written creations for ASC include What Parents Need to Know About Drug Testing their Teens, a Drug Testing Dictionary, a guide to Workplace Drug Testing, and workplace safety booklets on all sorts of subjects that are regulated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).   Drawing on her technical training, Mrs. Kilgarlin’s most recent product developments for ASC are the "Reveal Home Drug Test Kit," the "Home Pregnancy Test Kit," and – as the proud mother of three children – her fertility secrets shared in the company’s "Get Pregnant Quick Kit."  Mrs. Kilgarlin intends to reach $100 million in revenues with ASC before retiring in 2017 to devote her life to writing, philanthropy, and public service.
