I wanted to tell stories about God’s people that made them real (not super spiritual and thus intimidating—not to mention impossible) and showed how God uses ordinary people in extraordinary ways. I've been published over 250 times now and have work in 5 languages. I love writing about international culture, marriage, and lessons about living for God. After reading a book titled, Sold, about a young Nepalise girl who was trafficked, I kept thinking, "What good is it to be rescued from something terrible if you're not rescued to something good?" That, and an amazing book by Francine Rivers titled, Redeeming Love, inspired me to get started on what is now my Amazon bestselling Stolen Series (Stolen Woman, Stolen Child, Stolend Future) on international human trafficking. I wanted a story that, rather than focusing on trafficking, focused on the people who care and who make a difference, and ended with hope!
