I have always wanted to write, but my life was just too busy for me to actually sit down and get my thoughts on paper. I also did not have the confidence that anything I would write would be good enough for others to want to read it. Now I'm getting up in years and figured kids are grown, teenagers now, they don't need me as much. Things in my life have slowed down. Why don't I just take 5 to 10 minutes a day to set aside and write one page. One page a day could mean a book a year. Well I did that. I finally got my story on paper, hired an editor to clean it up, and submitted it. Within two weeks I had a contract in hand! It must have been the right time for me. I believe nothing comes to you unless it is meant too and at the right time. I am now working on my second book, a fantasy. I could only hope this one is as good as Paranormal Properties.
