Information
Reading Charles Bukowski and Amy Hempel convinced me to try narrative poetry, which I have been doing for a number of years with varying degrees of success. Using the framework of narrative poetry to capture humanity as we daily interact with it--social portraiture of everyday moments--is a compulsion.
Accomplishments
As a matter of policy I don't enter contests, but have won a handful of promiscuous awards. The Nobel and Pulitzer continue to elude me.
