I grew up and now live in the Pacific Northwest where I gained my love for the outdoors and the natural world. I have a degree in physics – I have worked in astronomy, briefly in oceanography and in corporate R&D for a major computer and printer manufacturer. I am an avid reader and I enjoy diverse writings from Vonnegut to Durrell to Ram Dass. I studied creative writing at Oregon State University. ‘The Long Take’ is my first novel.
