I have been an editor and proofreader for about ten years, since about 2003. I have completed a Diploma in Profesional Writing and Editing at NMIT Greensborough, Australia. I have wanted to be a writer ever since I put together my first paragraph in grade 3 at primary school. I remember how it blew me away to realise that I had just written a micro story. For an eight year old it was like I had the power of the universe in my hands and I could do anything, be anything, create anything I wanted to. Since then I have written on and off, with the last ten years being the most productive. I have had several short stories and poems included in various anthologies, as well as self publishing my own book of poetry, Kaleidoscope. I have run a writer's group in my home town, the most notable achievements of which were an anthology, entitled 'Minds on the Move' and the organisation of a series of weekend writing workshops for young adults of secondary school age.  Like all writers I'm still trying for that big break, and will continue to write until I no longer can.
