My writing actually started as a hobby 7 years ago. The first novel was a self-help book, and a mixture of fiction and non-fiction. The second book is fiction only. And the latest book is fiction only. I find that writing is a great way to use my inner thoughts. I am very creative and I like a good challenge. My next book is going to be about domestic violence with a twist of romance. I like a variety of topics to write about. And I write what I know, or have experienced at some point--most of the time. I like to make my fictional characters appear real to my readers and I have been told that I have great command of my writing. You can get to know my characters, and can take a step into their lives in my books. That makes for a good read that you don't want to put down until the end. I also have a degree in creative writing. I received it in 2009. I plan to write many more books in the future. For as long as I can.

I own my own business. I am a barber/cosmetologist. I have worked in that field for 17 years. I received a license for cosmetology in 1984, and a license in barbering: Master Haircare Specialist in 1997. I have a degree in Creative Writing. I received that degree in 2009 from Stratford Career Institute.
