Based on the memoirs of a Pearl Harbor survivor. Letters from two pen pals take the reader on a journey into the past, a past where nightmares came true, and when hatred reigned.
It fills me with fear to think history will repeat itself. I write historical fiction, hoping to reflect for the vision which made the world a better place, at least for a time. One architect of such a place was Charlemagne - the 'candle in the darkness' of Europe's Dark Ages.

Accomplishments
I worked almost forty years in higher education with its many challenges: sexual harassment, jealousies, hidden conflicts, brilliance,depravity, fools and geniuses. And I STILL believe in the value of education, the necessity of critical thinking, and the wisdom in saluting the life of the mind.
