I'm Dianne Lynn Gardner, author and illustrator from the Pacific Northwest. Writer of family friendly fantasty that comes from a love of books like Narnia, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and The Lord of the Rings. The world I've created is The Realm and it's pretty amazing because you can get in it through your computer, (or cell phone nowdays like Cassie does in Cassandra's Castle). You'd best be ready for some inner struggle though, because the world isn't always as lovely as you'd want it to be. There are dragons, a wicked sorceress, rebellions, and pirates. But if you're willing to stand strong and stay true to yourself, you might come out of it a king, or queen, or prince or princess. My books are loved by children ages 9 to 90 (seriously, one of my best fans is 90 years old!).  Deception Peak, The Dragon Shield and Rubies and Robbers are the first three books in the series,  and Cassandra's Castle will be released soon. There are more novels brewing. A Tale of the Four Wizards are four short stories that tell the legends of the Realm and its patriarchs.
