My life as a sedentary British Solicitor ended a few years ago when I was fifty and I decided to retire to the Philippines - the native land of my wife.  Life there was interesting, to say the least. I have wanted to write ever since I was a lad - many books were started and not completed - until two years ago, when I found myself in a situation where I could spend time to realise my hopes. Luckily, my life experiences, in various south east Asian countires has provided me with many ideas for a good story, and lots of outrageous people who have provided me with the characters for my books. They say truth is stranger than fiction, and certainly some of the things I have experienced in the Philippines would not be believed by many.   

After winning a silver trophy for a fishing contest in Somerset, I went on to eventually gain a Law Degree in Bristol - and ran my own Solicitors practice in Wales for a number of years.
