My love of reading and art began many years ago. I grew up loving to read and in  fact, my favorite childhood book was The Wonderful Flight to the Mushroom Planet by Eleanor Cameron. I used to write letters to my aunt in Florida that she said were amazing. She said that I had a way of describing things that made them come to life in my letters. I guess you could say that those letters were my first experiments into the world of writing. As I grew up, i read and read and read. My dad said that I ended up having to get glasses because of reading books in a bedroom that was too dark. But, he wears glasses and my mom wore glasses and they were not readers. I had a craft book published back in the 90's by Plaid Enterprises. It enjoyed two really good years in stores. Alas, as all things change, the craft world changes. New things come in and the old moves out. I wish I could say that I got rich, but I made 9 cents per bok sold. LOL That did not exactly make me rich. Back in January of 2010, my book "Sleepytown" was published. You can check it out on Amazon or other online book stores. Not only do I read and write, but I love to paint Acrylic on Canvas. The greatest thing would be to read, write, and paint every day. If that is not enough, I started Sleepytown Press back in 2010. Why? That is another story that I will save for another time.
