A layout artist/vertical camera operator at Prentice Hall for many years, I always wanted to be on the other side of publishing, as an author working on my own books.
I'm a fan of different genres, I love the humor and grit of Mark Haskell Smith and Carl Hiaasen, the real life shorts of Maile Meloy, the descriptive beauty of Jan Yoors, the historical fiction of T.C. Boyle and also Victorian ghost stories by writers such as M.R. James and Elizabeth Gaskell, etc.
