Information
My reading background? It's... eclectic to say the least; L.M. Montgomery, historical non-fiction, fairy tales, manga, Stephen King, Terry Brooks and Robert Browning are all books I've read in the last week or so.
My actual background is slightly more straight foreward. I studied literature in college, and decided to make a career out of it. I have a husband and a five year old son. My son has Alport's Syndrome so 10% of all profits go towards kidney research.
The main character's background is an unholy combination of my two favorite literary characters. Deadpool, from Marvel comics, and Pinkie Pie, from MLP: Friendship is Magic. Yeah, it looks weird just typing it out. I mashed those two together, named the new abomination Branwyen and then tried desperately to corral her.
