I began writing regularly after my son was murdered. I kept a journal that first year after his death. I haven’t consistently kept a journal like that since. I believe it was the spirit of God guiding me. There were times when I would pray and then immediately following the prayer... phrases and words would flow from my soul and I would just write it all down like a freakin' maniac.  God was trying to tell me something. I moved to California in the 80's to act. In the 90"s I had success as a stand- up comedian. I remember doing a Showtime comedy special and being in my dressing room crying right before the show. I was sad, broken and depressed.  Yet night after night I was able to go out in front of an audience and make them laugh. I know now that too was God. I believe all roads lead back to God’s purpose. If only you seek him. In the past 22 years I have been seeking meaning and purpose for my life. The road I chose lead  me here.
