I was born on the small island of Grenada W. I. I have been writing as far back as I can remember. Lazy late afternoons, sittig on the beach watching the sunset. Standing at the Back of Fort George, looking at the old cannons,daydreaming of the battles between the Frence, British, Spnash, Caribs and Awaraks helped intensify my imagination. I came to Amarica to play basketball, but realized that I was more Steve Urkel than Steve Nash. I married a coal miners daughter from Kentucky, devoiced and now live in West Virginia, for now. My main influences are Charles Dickens, V.S. Naipaul and Paul Keens Douglas. Growing up on an island where story telling is a way of life. You can see men sitting on the side of the road, playing dominoes and telling stories, or at night sitting outside under the tropical night listening to tales from old men.
