I began writing later in life as family, children and the "life" things always came first. I began writing journals when I was around 15 and then one Christmas my Mother brought me a box of old journals she had kept and simply said it's time to write. The rest is history. Once I began collecting my thoughts I took pen to paper and allowed my thoughts to be shared with the world.  Nothing gives me more pleasure than writing. It is my own personal outlet to write about life the way I view it. I am a member of the Independent Author Index and have three blogs I write from sharing other Author's works allowing me to support others as well as myself! I take pride in my work and enjoy greatly the works of others.  Becoming an Author has given me a broader spectrum of what it takes to be not just a writer but a good writer. I take time to do workshops and look for blogs with writing tips to help critique my own skills.  My my first novel, Summer Winds, was a triumphant feat for me. After so many years wishing to write and possibly publish, the day it went live was one of the best days in my life. The book has done very well and I am currently working on the sequel to Summer Winds. I have written a short story titled, "Disintegrate, A Short Story of Bullying" but decided to publish it on my blog so others could have free access to read it.  Convictions are strong in most peoples beliefs and I am within that group which writes with a passion on events or stories which drive me to write. I enjoy meeting new Authors and exchanging ideas, skills and mostly friendships to better our own writing experience!
