Elizabeth/Beth Blake worked in a medical science laboratory for 20 years then switched to teaching high school science to at-risk teens in the inner-city. She had many exciting experiences in these two related fields. She wrote a memoir about teaching called "No Child Left Behind??? The true story of a teacher's quest" that covered her search for her life's purpose. It can be found on Amazon. She is currently looking for a publisher for her memoir about working in the medical field. A desire to branch out and try her hand at something different, Beth wrote a romance and got it published by Keith Publications. It's called "Shelter of Love" and is about a veterinary assistant in Arizona where Beth lives. You can find it on Amazon as an e-book.   Beth is a wife, a mother, and grandmother of 3 small children. She likes walking, swimming, traveling, reading and of course writing.

"No Child Left Behind???" took 3rd place in a national indie contest, "Premier Book Awards." Elizabeth/Beth Blake is an ASCP certified Medical Technologist. As a Chemistry certified high school teacher in Arizona, she won Teacher of the Year from Cox Cable in the high school science category.
