I am a nurse and a writer, divorced, with a teenaged son.  At first I wrote because I think women generally don't feel as comfortable with their sexuality as they could.  Although that thought still influences me, now I write primarily to express myself. I wonder sometimes why that shift happened.  My two favorite authors are Sinclair Lewis, and Jasinda Wilder.
