I write contemporary romance;stories that are sometimes sweet, sometimes steamy, and almost always spiked with suspense. I weave my fiction in the wee hours, have a love of flavored coffee, and indulge my dark side in flash fiction and horror. To have a reader live vicariously in a world I've built, through  the characters I've created; worry about them, cheer for them and cry with them, is an amazing  and gratifying gift.Writing is, for me, a way of connecting. The writer in creating the story, and the reader by reading it, empathize with the characters and the ability to show empathy makes us better people. I'm  a member of the Romance Writers of America, Kiss of Death, Sisters In Crime, Heart of Carolina Romance Writers, Passionate Ink, and the Fantasy, Futuristic and Paranormal chapter of RWA. I reside in North Carolina with my true life hero, three dogs, a cat and a goat.
