My father was in the Royal Navy so we travelled around the World. I have always enjoyed moving to new countries and in the 34 years that we have been married, my husband and I have lived in the USA, Ireland, Belgium, UK and Spain. We have lived in Madrid for 15 years with brief periods in the UK for family reasons.
Since 2004 I have presented radio programmes in Spain and the UK as well as for Internet radio and television. Apart from co-presenting Drive Time, I also presented the Thursday Afternoon health show and the Sunday Morning show. I love radio and try and shrink for my on camera television shows!
I have written seven books on health and fiction and short stories both in print and audio. Currently write a daily blog on health and writing as well two further books on elderly care. Reading, writing and music are very important to me and I cannot imagine a world without any of them.
