After years of detouring into working with the worldwide extreme metal community and writing reviews for hundreds of bands across the globe with Black Belle Music I have returned to my biggest writing love with first book Plebs published by J. Ellington Ashton Press. The biggest influence and inspiration on my writing is the late, great Richard Laymon. Though I was widely influenced by many greats in the horror writing scene such as Masterton, Hutson, Barker, early Koontz and King, Simon Clark, Dan Simmons, Robert McCammon and so forth, it was discovering the works of Richard Laymon in the early 90's which completely altered and eventually honed the way I write. My writing has been described as grindhouse horror, splatterpunk and classic horror with a cinematic quality to it. I like to consider it thought-provoking, often violent and visceral, dark and twisted with strong story to it, not just shock value.
