To be completely honest, I never aspired to be an author, but after a series of profound afterlife visits, I wrote a book that carefully chronicles all my experiences. While I was there, I learned many fascinating things about brain function, the origins of Christianity, a revolutionary biological science, how savants created civilization, and so much more. To say the very least, this has changed my perspective on absolutely everything.
Fortunately, I have had a long career as an award-winning advertising writer, so my writing skills enabled me to create a book that is at least quite coherent. And, for the most part, those who have read it love it.
My visits to the afterlife were not near-death related, as so many are. I simply went to sleep after deep meditation and accidentally opened my dream eyes in this wonderful dimension. After my first visit, a spirit named Lyle was able to bring me back night after night as long as I went into deep meditation.
I learned the art of meditation during long, boring hours of chemotherapy. In 2006 I was diagnosed with colon cancer, which could have hastened my entry into the afterlife had it not been for a brilliant surgeon and great care.
I was born in New York City and spent most of my childhood in the sleepy northern suburb of Purchase, New York. One of my hobbies was rock collecting, which led to an interest in geology. So. I eventually enrolled in the geology school at the University of Arizona. After a year or so, I switched majors and ended up graduating with degrees in both english and journalism.
Once back in NYC I began a long and successful career in advertising and marketing. I also dabbled as a toy inventor and created several very successful items, one of which was displayed at the Museum Of Modern Art. Today, I design and produce hand-made leather accessories, and I'm trying to market my book, which is the most difficult task of my life! And that's an understatement!
