Mark grew up in a rural town in Northern California. The valley consisted of mostly farms, orchards, and country roads. His family had enough money to live comfortably, but with few extravagances. We children were forced to use our imaginations to keep ourselves occupied. Bicycles, skateboards made from a piece of wood and broken skates, a piece of cardboard used as a sled, etc. We were taught good (old fashioned) morals, respect, hard work ethics and love.  Mark's focus is helping humanity, especially the homeless.  "I wish to explore and share ideas and thoughts in an effort to awaken these ideas in each of us. My goal is to create passion in the hearts and minds of my readers for the plights of society, and to discover how we each can help our brethren." Writing has become a passion for me. I endeavor to share not only my words, but to share them in ways that will inspire readers. I hope to be the catalyst for change in society, especially in the area of homelessness and humanity.
